1- SECOND COLLECTION
Thank you for supporting the Second Collection, which we dedicate to continue disinfecting our Church facilities and catechetical rooms. This collection is also taken to support the work of catholic missionaries around the world. We also call on all the boys and girls of the Catechism to bring their envelopes. The children are also raising funds in their weekly contributions towards their goal of donating two (2) statues of Saint Michael the Archangel to their Church: congratulations to them for their great work! Give it up to them.
2- LENT & ASH WEDNESDAY
This Wednesday, March 2 (Ash Wednesday), we will begin Lent, a precious time to get closer to God and the sacraments. We also remind everyone of our Ash Wednesday schedule: we will have Masses at 6 AM, 8 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, 7 PM and 8:30 PM. Get ready to live a Lent of fire!
3- VIACRUCIS ON FRIDAYS OF LENT
Starting Friday March 4th we will have the Pious Exercise of the Holy Way of the Cross in our Church at 9 AM and 6:15 PM during the Lenten Season. For that reason, the evening Holy Rosary will begin on Fridays of Lent at 5:45 PM.
4- BIBLE CLASSES: HISTORICAL BOOKS
On Monday, March 14, a new cycle of the Biblical Formation Program of our Parish will begin. Classes will be from 7 PM to 9 PM from March to mid-July. Registrations must be made at the Parish Office. A one-time collaboration of $20 per person is requested. Limited availability
5- LETTERS FOR THE TAX RETURN
You can now request your Donation Certification Letters to obtain deductions on your Tax Return for the year 2021. You can call or go personally to the Parish Office from now on to obtain your Letter in relation to donations made to the Church. If you have children in the Children’s Catechism Program or Participate in the Adult Catechism Program (RCIA) you can also obtain another additional letter from the Catechism Office certifying the donations you made in that office, as that letter will also help you.
6- CONFIRMATION RETREAT
Yesterday, Saturday, March 5, we had our second Confirmation retreat this year for another group of young people who will receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit this summer: this time about 105 young people from our community participated in the retreat, which took place in the house Franciscan of Camp Alvernia, Long Island. Let us pray for these young men and women so that the Holy Spirit will always enlighten, assist and strengthen them. Many thanks to all the catechists and kitchen and support team for their excellent work.
7- CHARISMATIC ASSEMBLY: TODAY SUNDAY 3 PM
This Sunday March 6th at 3 PM we will have the Monthly Charismatic Assembly in the Auditorium. Today’s Guest Preacher is Fr. José Miguel Peña and the Ministry of Music will be in charge of Brother Fernando Gabriel. All invited.
8- SPECIAL MASS WITH OUR DIOCESAN BISHOP
Our Diocesan Bishop, Msgr. Robert J. Brennan, will preside at a Special Mass with Catholic parishioners from Corona, Jackson Heights and Elmhurst on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:45 PM at St. Bartholomew’s Church, located at 43-22 Ithaca Street. , Elmhurst. All invited. Spread the voice.
9- SPECIAL RETREAT WITH FAMILY MEMBERS OF PEOPLE IN PRISON
On Sunday, March 20, 2022, our Diocesan Bishop, Most Rev. Robert J. Brennan, will preside over a special encounter and retreat for family and friends of people who are in prison for any reason. It will start at 3 PM in the auditorium. At 6 PM there will be a special Mass presided over by the Bishop for the participants in this meeting.
10- (Read only on Sunday at the 9 AM Mass) VIRGEN DEL ROCIO
Today the representatives of the Ecuadorian Community will be in front of our Church to register those who wish to receive the holy image of the Virgen del Rocío in their homes. Go to them to sign up please.
11- OPEN REGISTRATION IN THE CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Enrollment for the 2022-2023 School Year is now open at our Los Dolores Catholic School. Please come to the school office Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM. For more information you can call 718-426-5517. Open House today from 10 AM through 12 PM.

13- TRANSPORTATION FOR PARENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Our Parish is offering roundtrip transportation to Sunday Masses to our parishioners who have special needs, either for reasons of age or physical health. We are offering this service for the 10:30 AM and 3 PM Masses. For more information please call or visit the Parish Office.
14- GREAT PARISH RAFFLE
We are celebrating our traditional Great Parish Raffle: this year you can win A TOYOYA RAV-4 YIPETA OF THE YEAR by participating in this raffle, which is dedicated to the restoration of our bell and clock and also to support the participation of the youth of our Parish in the World Youth Day 2023. There are also two (2) additional prizes of $1,000 each: participate, win and support your Parish! (Here is a group of young people from our Youth Ministry who will be offering the raffle tickets at the exit of the Mass: please support them a lot!).

AVISOS PARROQUIALES EN LAS MISAS DE DOMINGO

1- SEGUNDA COLECTA
Gracias por apoyar la Segunda Colecta, que dedicamos a seguir desinfectando las instalaciones de nuestra Iglesia y salones de catequesis. También dedicamos esta segunda colecta para apoyar el trabajo de los misioneros católicos en tantas partes del mundo. Llamamos también a todos los niños y niñas del Catecismo a traer sus sobres. Los niños están también recaudando fondos en sus aportes semanales para su meta de donar dos (2) estatuas de San Miguel Arcángel a su Iglesia: felicitaciones a ellos por su gran trabajo! Un aplauso a ellos.
2- CUARESMA & MIÉRCOLES DE CENIZA
Este miércoles 2 de marzo, Miércoles de Ceniza, iniciaremos la Cuaresma, un tiempo precioso para acercarnos más a Dios y a los sacramentos. Nuestro horario de Misas para dicho Miércoles de Ceniza será el siguiente: 6AM, 8AM, 12PM, 3PM, 5PM, 6PM, 7PM y 8:30PM. Prepárate para vivir una Cuaresma de fuego!
3- VIACRUCIS LOS VIERNES DE CUARESMA
Empezando el viernes 4 de marzo tendremos el Ejercicio Piadoso del Santo Viacrucis en nuestra Iglesia a las 9AM y a las 6:15PM durante el Tiempo de Cuaresma. Por ese motive, el Santo Rosario de la tarde se iniciará los viernes de cuaresma a las 5:45 PM.
4- CLASES BIBLICAS: LIBROS HISTÓRICOS
El lunes 14 de marzo iniciará un nuevo ciclo del Programa de Formación Bíblica de nuestra Parroquia. Las clases serán de 7PM a 9PM desde marzo hasta mediados de julio. Las inscripciones deben hacerse en la Oficina Parroquial. Se pide una colaboración única de $20 por persona. Cupo limitado
5- CARTAS PARA LA DECLARACIÓN DE IMPUESTOS
Pueden ya solicitar sus Cartas de Certificación de Donaciones para obtener deducciones en su Declaración de Impuestos correspondiente al año 2021. Pueden llamar o ir personalmente a la Oficina Parroquial desde ya para obtener su Carta con relación a las donaciones hechas a la Iglesia. Si usted tiene hijos en el Programa del Catecismo de Niños o Participa en el Programa del Catecismo de Adultos (RICA) puede también obtener otra carta adicional en la Oficina del Catecismo certificando las donaciones que usted hizo en esa oficina, pues esa carta también le ayudará.
6- RETIRO DE CONFIRMACIÓN
Ayer sábado 5 de marzo tuvimos nuestro segundo retiro de Confirmación de este año para otro grupo de jóvenes que recibirán el Don del Espíritu Santo este verano: esta vez unos 105 jóvenes de nuestra comunidad participaron en el retiro, que se llevó a cabo en la casa franciscana de Camp Alvernia, Long Island. Oremos por estos jovencitos y jovencitas para que el Espíritu Santo siempre los illumine, asista y fortalezca. Muchas gracias a todos los catequistas y equipo de cocina y apoyo por su excelente labor.
7- ASAMBLEA CARISMATICA: HOY DOMINGO 3PM
Este domingo 6 de marzo a las 3PM tendremos la Asamblea Carismática Mensual en el Auditorio. El Predicador Invitado de hoy es el P. José Miguel Peña y el Ministerio de Música estará a cargo del Hermano Fernando Gabriel. Todos invitados.
8- MISA ESPECIAL CON NUESTRO OBISPO DIOCESANO
Nuestro Obispo Diocesano, Mons. Robert J. Brennan, presidirá una Misa Especial con los feligreses católicos de Corona, Jackson Heights y Elmhurst el miércoles 16 de marzo a las 6:45PM en la Iglesia de San Bartolomé, localizada en 43-22 Ithaca Street, Elmhurst. Todos invitados. Riega la voz.
9- RETIRO ESPECIAL CON FAMILIARES DE PERSONAS EN PRISIÓN
El domingo 20 de marzo de 2022 nuestro Obispo Mons. Roberto Brennan presidirá un encuentro especial para familiares y amigos de personas que se encuentren en prisión por cualquier motivo. Dicho encuentro empezará a las 3PM en el auditorio. A las 6PM habrá una Misa especial presidida por el Sr. Obispo para los participantes en este encuentro.
10- (Leer solamente en las Misas del Domingo) VIRGEN DEL ROCIO
Hoy día los representantes de la Comunidad Ecuatoriana estarán al frente de nuestra Iglesia para registrar a aquellos que deseen recibir la imagen santa de la Virgen del Rocío en sus casas. Acudan a ellos para anotarse por favor.
11- INSCRIPCIONES ABIERTAS EN LA ESCUELA CATOLICA
Las inscripciones para el Año Escolar 2022-2023 están ya abiertas en nuestra escuela católica de Los Dolores. Por favor vengan a la Oficina de la escuela de lunes a viernes de 8AM a 3PM. Para más información pueden llamar al teléfono 718-426-5517. Hoy habrá «open house» de 10AM a 12PM.

13-TRANSPORTE PARA FELIGRESES CON NECESIDADES ESPECIALES
Nuestra Parroquia está ofreciendo transporte de ida y vuelta a las Misas del día Domingo a aquellos feligreses nuestros que presenten necesidades especiales, bien sea por motivos de edad o de salud física. Estamos ofreciendo este servicio para las Misas de las 10:30 AM y de las 3PM. Para más información por favor llamar o visitar la Oficina Parroquial.
14- GRAN RIFA PARROQUIAL
Estamos celebrando nuestra tradicional Gran Rifa Parroquial: este año puede ganarte UNA YIPETA TOYOYA RAV-4 DEL AÑO participando en esta rifa, que está dedicada a la restauración de nuestra campana y reloj y también para apoyar la participación de los jóvenes de nuestra Parroquia en la Jornada Mundial de la Juventud 2023. Hay también dos (2) premios adicionales de 1,000 dólares cada uno: jparticipa, gana y apoya tu Parroquia! (Aquí hay un grupo de jóvenes de nuestra Pastoral Juvenil que estarán ofreciendo los tickets de la rifa a la salida de la Misa: por favor apóyenlos mucho!).
